Hello All,

I have a problem in solve a simple curve problem. Here is the problem..

**Two tangents intersect at a chainage of 1000 m, the deflection angle being 36°.The length of the long chord is 133.52 m and the chainage of T2 is 2065.61m. Find the Chainage of T1 and Radius of curve.**

Now the point is that when I try to find T1 by this formula:

T1 = Total Chainage - Tangent Length.

Tangent Length found to be 70.2m and Radius = 216.04m , therefore

T1 = 1000 - 70.2 = 929.8m

But But when I try to verify my result using length of curve formula

length of curve = 135.47

So T1 = T2 - length of curve

T1 = 2065.61 - 135.4 = 1929.08 So the difference is about 1000m which is the total chainage. Some one told me that it has to do with dependency. Please anyone help me in solving this problem. May be my Radius is not correct. Some one please help me. Thank you in advance..

Laser level machine is different than traditional but how can find it specially about brand or model no & specific uses, so there is any idea about few nos laser level machine which so far best with uses. example: sometime we need to find existing level , its not easy for carrying a large machine instead of small & easily traveling machine. vertical & horizontal distance underground level of a materials like pile can it find or footing depth if technical requirement find ok then about to consider its cost so any idea about it.

Hi, I cant seem to find the answer to this problem in the book or anywhere on the internet:

- A measurement is made along an incline at an angle of 2o22’ as measured from the TSD. The sloped measurement is 3236.86 ft. What is the corresponding horizontal distance?
- If the horizontal accuracy of problem 1 is to be 1/25,000, to what accuracy must the slope be measured?

What is horizontal accuracy and how do I find the accuracy of the slope using this?

Im only looking for the answer to number 2, I posted number 1 because number 2 references it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank You.
