The following questionnaire survey is being conducted in order to identify, quantify, analyse the risks associated for a particular construction project in order to carry out risk management process effectively. The questionnaire is designed by considering the various possible factors which may have a certain (+ve or –ve) impact on a construction project. All these questions were cautiously chosen and made sure that these answers do also help in the further proceeding for risk quantification and analysis part.

Hi I am looking for training videos(either dvd or online downloadable course) that is presented by english speakers, I have found some other courses available in english but done by Indian speakers, no offense meant but I have trouble understanding the person speaking, I was wondering if anyone knows of any good video training on dvd or online?

I have a problem in solve a simple curve problem. Here is the problem..
Two tangents intersect at a chainage of 1000 m, the deflection angle being 36°.The length of the long chord is 133.52 m and the chainage of T2 is 2065.61m. Find the Chainage of T1 and Radius of curve.
Now the point is that when I try to find T1 by this formula:
T1 = Total Chainage - Tangent Length.
Tangent Length found to be 70.2m and Radius = 216.04m , therefore
T1 = 1000 - 70.2 = 929.8m
But But when I try to verify my result using length of curve formula
length of curve = 135.47
So T1 = T2 - length of curve
T1 = 2065.61 - 135.4 = 1929.08 So the difference is about 1000m which is the total chainage. Some one told me that it has to do with dependency. Please anyone help me in solving this problem. May be my Radius is not correct. Some one please help me. Thank you in advance..

Are there any tutorials available for creating a four road intersection using the intersection tool in Civil 3D? Civil 3D intersection tool helps in creating a three road intersection, but it doesn't create curb return profiles for a four intersection. The curb return profiles are not automatically created with the intersection tool thereby giving errors.

So please give me your advice witch software would be the best right now, about design a calculation for walls, cantilevers, etc. Consider it to be user friendly and almost BIM too. Hi every one, ln steel structures, is it possible to make elastic analysis, got elastic forces and design by plastic method ? I mean use elastic forces multiplyied by load factors and cmplete design with AISC LFRD equatinos! Elastic analysis instead of plastic analysis for LFRD. Thanks in advance

Though the concepts of BIM or Model-Based Design are the same, it’s true that Building Information Modelling (BIM) has its roots in architecture and there is an assumption that the benefits are applicable to architects and only relevant to building design and construction. Assuming that BIM is the future, then would the benefits provided by BIM technology be utilized for infrastructure design pojects using Civil 3D, 12d Model and Bentley InRoads?
